Delightful Age of Spring. |
 |
|
Like a newborn rosebud
Pure and untouched
Such is my young heart.
Ready to bloom
Impatiently awaiting
The warmth of your touch
To open the delicate petals
Of my impassioned heart
And my emergent soul.
Carry me over the threshold
Into a mysterious world
Of sweet kisses
And innocent love.
Let us discover
What lies beyond childhood
Within the boundaries
Of our age of Spring.
Unbounded by the cares
Brought about by adulthood
Let’s enjoy the freedom
Of carefree youth
Before we bind ourselves
To lifelong ties
Brought about by maturity.
Maturity can wait
But before it arrives
Release my blooming heart
And let’s freely roam
The green fields and valleys
Of innocent delight.
Butterfly.
