Each solitary night,
Soon as the light of day
Reach for the broad horizon,
The sun escapes and hides away,
I close my eyes
And softly call your name.
In anticipation
Awaiting a reply.
The mocking silence echoing:
Till we meet again, farewell, good-bye.
You left this earth
And amidst the angels, fly.
Yet, death cannot delete
The image of your face.
Recollections, memories,
Deaths realm can not erase.
Youre ingrained in my heart,
My soul, my being always.
Cradled, safely embraced
By eternal sleep.
Peace be yours my angel.
In the afterlife well meet,
And then, together,
Well find joy in deaths defeat.
Butterfly.
