With a heart full of love and a tender touch,
You nurtured, raised and cared for me.
Attended to my needs, forgot your own,
How fortunate and blessed one can be,
To have you, dear lady, gentle and kind,
As a mother, protector and friend.
Patiently you've taught me right from wrong,
On you I can always depend.
The love you unselfishly distribute,
And compassion that you show,
Each good deed you have ever done,
To each and everyone you know,
Surely, never go unnoticed,
Though at times it seems that way.
You'll be blessed, richly rewarded,
It will be returned to you one day.
For the times I hurt and caused you pain,
And when I disappointed you.
For being ungrateful, disobedient,
Disrespectful, irresponsible too,
I ask you mum for your forgiveness.
Your are my anchor and my rock.
I love you more than words can say,
You're truly a treasure, a gift from God.
Each time you kneel beside your bed
I know that you pray for me.
Putting me in the Father's hands,
The safest place anyone can be.
May God grant you good health and happiness,
May all your dreams and wishes come true.
As for me, I have only one special wish:
To be a remarkable person, like you.
Butterfly.
