I tossed a question in the wind
“Please tell me what is love?”
On a breeze the answer came:
“Look inside your heart, you’ll find it there.
When you do come fly with me
let us scatter far and wide
across the land and over sea
seeds of kindness, warmth and care.
Over many years in time
your kin and you shall reap
sheaves of ardour and affection
fields of genuine adoration
and as you taste the sweetness
of the fruits
of what you sowed
finally you’ll know
the answer to the question:
‘What is love’.
